Octopie is my brand new shop! It was officially opened on January 21st 2012. Currently I am selling handmade sweater clips made from vintage earrings. I browse bunches of thrift shops in Vancouver, BC, as well as look through dozens of shops on Etsy for the perfect earrings for my creations. I'm new to the handmade scene and am loving every second of it! There's such a wonderful community on Etsy and I'm happy to be a small part of it. I love sweater clips because they add a touch of class while still remaining both professional and fun at the same time. They bring homage to the styles of the 1950's while being completely relevant to modern fashion. And they are just a lot of fun to make!
